About The Role
As Field Worker (Roads and Drainage) you will be part of the roads and drainage district team responsible for detailed maintenance of roads and drainage assets across the city.
Working with a crew you will undertake manual labouring that includes boxing for small concrete jobs and occasionally operating plant and equipment such as a dingo, footpath roller and small machinery.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Footpath, kerb and channel, stormwater asset and underground pipe repairs
* Participate in planning, hazard identification and risk assessment of work activities
* Communicating with and provide feedback to supervisors, team members, colleagues and customers
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence (highly desired)
* Experience in Civil Construction (highly desired)
* The ability to work in a team to complete work on time and with minimal supervision

This is a full time permanent position with a salary commencing at $68,049 plus 12.5% superannuation.
