The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be on the front lines supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced medical technologies. You'll serve as a vital technical ambassador, ensuring our life-saving devices operate flawlessly in clinics and hospitals.
Responsibilities:
* Install, commission, and configure advanced medical equipment at customer sites
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure all work meets manufacturer, regulatory, and internal quality standards
* Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly to minimise downtime
* Maintain accurate digital service records and documentation for compliance and traceability
* Provide technical support and training to clinical staff and communicate effectively with hospital stakeholders to coordinate service visits
* Collaborate with internal teams on service strategies, logistics, contract support, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
* 2+ experience in a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer role within the medical device or healthcare technology industry
* Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root-cause analysis skills
* Experience working in hospital and clinical environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to manage a service territory independently and prioritise competing service demands
* Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence
* Willingness to travel, including short-notice travel
