Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Telecom Support Engineer with robust experience in Major Incident Management, Problem Management, and supporting telecom network-related applications. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise with Linux‑based applications, scripting, and modern DevOps tools, along with solid knowledge of telecom OSS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead Major Incidents and Problem Management activities to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues.
- Provide L2/L3 support for telecom network‑related applications and platforms.
- Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for complex technical issues.
- Support Linux‑based applications, including log analysis, system tuning, and application‑level fixes.
- Work on database and application clusters, ensuring system availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Network, DevOps, Development, OSS teams) to resolve issues.
- Support automation, deployments, and continuous improvements using scripting and DevOps tools.
- Maintain documentation for incidents, problems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Major Incident Management & Problem Management
- Solid exposure to Telecom OSS domain (minimum 2 years)
- Experience supporting telecom network‑related applications
Proficiency in:
- Linux‑based application support
- Scripting: Perl, Python
