The Role
Due to expansion and growth within the company, there is a new, exciting Production Welding Team Member role within our Wangaratta facility. To be considered for this exciting role you will have a great team based positive attitude. Ideally you will have had experience in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read drawings. The applicant will also need to cross train into other areas of the business as required. You will need to be committed to following the production schedule and perform tasks to a high standard.
Furthermore, we would require you to:
* Work in accordance with standard operating procedures and established criteria.
* Work under direct supervision either individually or in a team.
* Follow all safe work practices and report workplace hazards.
* Possess an excellent work ethic and proven history of reliability.
* Have an eye for detail from the customer perspective.
Duties
Including but not limited to:
* Grind, drill, deburr & fasten using hand tools
* Weld/Fabricate products to a high standard, from shop drawings
* Be actively involved in cleaning & organising your workplace
* As part of our cross-training program, perform other associated tasks as required
Requirements
* Unrestricted Australian working rights
* General Welding and or mechanical assembly
* Great communication skills
* Ability to work off job sheets and drawings, reading instructions and take direction
* Experience with plant machinery
* Forklift Licence – Highly Regarded
* Australian Driver's Licence
