The Role: We are looking for a Registered Nuse to work in our Young facility. You will be working Part Time - 37.5hours in a fortnight - AM and PM shifts (including weekends)
Responsibilities
Carry out the initial and on-going assessment, planning and management of nursing care for residentsDevelop personal care plans that ensure the individual needs of residents are identified and met, and be aware of changes in care plansParticipate in their quarterly care plan evaluation, or more regularly as requiredEnsure that all documentation required by and related to the provision of quality care for all residents is prepared, maintained, monitored, evaluated and up to date in accordance with SCC policies and proceduresEnsure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims
Requirements
Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general AHPRA registrationMinimum 2-year experience as an RN within Aged CareAbility to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support servicesAbility to provide quality care and support to frail aged peopleSound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care ProvidersAvailability to work a variety of shifts which may include morning, afternoon, night and weekend shiftsUnderstanding of ANACC, including assessments, documentation and funding submissions
