Project Manager Opportunity



Establishing and maintaining construction programs to reflect agreed methodologies is crucial in this role. The Project Planner will identify key activities, milestones, and constraints while ensuring accurate schedules are maintained based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and contract requirements.

This position involves planning, risk management, and supporting the project team to ensure successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and maintaining construction programs that align with agreed methodologies.
* Documenting key activities, milestones, and constraints.
* Establishing and maintaining accurate construction, procurement, and deliverables schedules based on the WBS and contract requirements.
* Ensuring planning processes and controls are in accordance with the Construction Management System and contract requirements.
* Contributing to the identification, mitigation, and response to project risks and opportunities.
* Developing standards and processes for program, progress, and other scheduling data in P6.
* Preparing staging documentation for meetings and reviews.
* Coordinating detailed monthly reviews and updates of the project program with delivery teams.
* Advising the lead planner on report interpretation and analysis of the Critical Path.
* Providing insights into project performance, forward planning, and development of corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes.
* Supporting and maintaining strong relationships with project teams.
* Ensuring clear lines of communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in project planning and scheduling is required, preferably in complex infrastructure projects. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 is essential. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills are also necessary. Additionally, proven ability to lead and manage a team of planners and strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders are required.
