Reporting to the Venue Manager, and working closely with our Group Executive Chef, this role presents the opportunity to showcase your leadership and culinary skills and grow your career with a leading hospitality group in South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership of the menu and operational planning;
* Stock management and control within the budgeted parameters;
* Creating a harmonious environment amongst the team;
* Management of all kitchen employees to ensure tasks are completed correctly and to quality standards;
* Recruitment and training of kitchen staff;
* Supporting career growth and development, to ensure the continual success of the business;
* Ensure compliance of internal policies and procedures and the relevant statutory requirements; and
* Foster and develop a high performing culture within your kitchen team, built on respect, passion, development inclusion and education/training.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Head Chef role;
* Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery achieved;
* Confident/proven experience with managing financials including costings and development of budgets;
* Experience with Buy Force an advantage; and
* Passionate leader with the ability to guide and mentor your team
