Application Systems Engineer
The Application Tools Team is responsible for maintaining and configuring tools used for software deployment and operating system deployment using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptive. This includes assisting application packagers with complex packaging requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and integrate new hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed.
* Assist application packagers in advanced packaging issues, mentor junior packagers, and maintain management tools/servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptiva).
* Help identify improvements to the application packaging process, keep WI's up to date, and assist applications senior, architects, and security with testing and implementing SOE configuration changes.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience with application packaging.
* Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva on Windows server systems.
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
* Good knowledge of PowerShell and SQL.
* Some knowledge and/or experience with Intune and Office 365.
