We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Site Engineer for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on the newly awarded Sydney Water project. This role is initially based in Alexandria and transitioning to Fairfield once the project begins. Responsibilities
* Foster effective collaboration and communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals
* Oversee, supervise and coordinate technical aspects of the project
* Implement site safety standards and monitor throughout the construction duration
* Monitor project budgets – initiating and executing work to minimize cost, ensuring alignment with forecasted costs to complete
* Monitor and report project progress through weekly look-aheads and monthly project schedule updates
* Lead, oversee and maintain project quality documentation
* Lead a team of site and project engineers
Qualifications and Connectors
* Preferably hands-on experience in Water utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and/or Networks, and associated Mechanical and Civil infrastructure
* Preferably experience in delivering large brownfield projects in water or utilities (power/gas) sectors
* Knowledge of safety, project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
* Experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning
