Portfolio Delivery Lead
based in
Brisbane, your role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed scope, timeframe, budget and quality standards.
Leading the planning, management and delivery of complex initiatives from inception through to implementation
Driving delivery outcomes through effective scheduling, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement
Applying and championing the Great Southern Bank Delivery Model, balancing customer outcomes, delivery excellence and risk management
Facilitating collaboration across cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business and technology initiatives
Managing delivery risks, issues, dependencies and vendor relationships to keep initiatives on track
Providing transparent reporting, insights and recommendations to support effective decision‑making
Coaching and supporting teams to adopt iterative delivery practices, continuous improvement and accountability
Building strong relationships across the business to align priorities, remove obstacles and achieve strategic outcomes
Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in portfolio delivery, project management or technology delivery roles
Strong experience delivering complex initiatives using traditional, Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholders
Experience managing risks, dependencies, budgets, schedules and governance requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills
Experience working with third‑party vendors and delivery partners
A strong understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), business analysis and technology delivery practices
Commercial acumen with experience managing initiative financials, forecasting and delivery planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting, workshop facilitation and executive stakeholder engagement
Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline, with Agile, MSP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications highly regarded
