Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our highly professional and skilled Infrastructure team.
As a Contractor's Quality Representative (CQR) you will support the implementation and monitoring of quality objectives, requirements, risks, and other issues across road infrastructure projects to ensure they meet TMR's quality and safety standards.
This is a full-time position and you will ideally be based in either Cairns or Townsville.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our highly professional and skilled Infrastructure team.
As a Contractor's Quality Representative (CQR) you will support the implementation and monitoring of quality objectives, requirements, risks, and other issues across road infrastructure projects to ensure they meet TMR's quality and safety standards.
This is a full-time position working across Cairns and Townsville based projects.
You will need to be located in either of these locations.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to verify that construction processes and outcomes meet the required quality benchmarks.
Managing and maintaining quality documentation
Upholding TMR standards throughout the project
Ensure the projects adhere to TMR standards and are managed in a safe and effective manner
Essential Skills and Attributes
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a quality role on TMR projects
Be a degree qualified Civil Engineer or civil technical officer with qualifications accepted by Engineers Australia
Be very familiar with TMR specifications and Quality Management Systems.
Demonstrates excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Project Management practices
Contracts Administration ideally on large projects
High level of attention to detail
