This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a designer or architect with a strong focus on design sensibility and attention to detail. As a member of our studio, you will be working closely with senior designers and architects to develop innovative architectural concepts that respond to unique user, programmatic, environmental, and cultural contexts.
Responsibilities include supporting the preparation, production, and presentation of detailed architectural drawings, design proposals, and specifications, as well as assisting with the design of innovative architectural concepts through the integration of leading-edge planning, engineering, interiors, and other required systems.
Additionally, you will define and develop functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, prepare information regarding the design and technical documentation, consult and assist contractors, consultants, interior designers, and other professionals with project coordination, report to and keep supervisors apprised of the status of and any issues with the project, support projects across the studio, contribute to design ideas and research, and perform other related duties as required.
Required skills and qualifications include 4-8+ years of relevant postgraduate experience, a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture, proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper experience preferred, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, energy, organisation, and a willingness to learn and adapt, passion for design excellence and commitment to timely delivery of project deadlines, and the ability to identify, understand, process, and solve complex problems.
