Growing Transport and Logistics business, require the assistance of an experienced Credit/AR Officer top commence on a temporary basis with a view to permanency. You will be joining a team of six in Finance and will be solely responsible for the Credit and Accounts Receivable function with the support of the Finance Manager.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,
* Customer Credit management (processing credit applications, and set up of new customers)
* Payments and transaction processing, banking, receipting and allocations
* Processing customer credit requests and claims
* Account and Bank reconciliations
* Ensure timely collections and Debtor management (negotiating payments and stop credits)
* Providing exceptional customer service and dealing with customer queries
* Credit and AR reporting and analysis
About You
The successful applicant will have/be,
* Highly experienced in Credit Control, Collections and Accounts Receivable
* Strong ERP systems experience and intermediate Excel skills
* Well developed verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build rapport with ease and well developed negotiation skills
* Strong understanding of Credit legislation
* A positive and professional team player
