Team Lead Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of retail professionals to achieve sales growth and meet regular KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to effectively manage daily operations, including achieving sales growth and meeting regular KPI targets.
* Team Management: Build and develop a high-performing department team to deliver exceptional customer service and support the store's overall success.
* Leadership: Lead by example and communicate management expectations to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
* Stock Management: Oversee high-volume stock management, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing losses.
* Merchandising: Merchandise inline with business expectations, including launching catalogue campaigns and setting up ticketing systems in-store.
* Recruitment and Development: Assist in recruitment and training functions to build a skilled and engaged team.
Requirements:
* Retail Management Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, big-box environment.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve sales growth and meet KPI targets.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision and strategy to stakeholders.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer software applications, including POS systems, and have a basic understanding of data analysis and reporting.
* First Aid Certification: Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it at the company's expense.
