About the Role
Based in Perth, this workshop supports some of Australia's largest mining operations through the repair and maintenance of critical mining components. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking skilled Welders to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long‐term role with a respected organisation, with the potential to transition from labour hire to permanent employment for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform welding and fabrication work to company quality standards
* Inspect and assess components for damage and wear
* Carry out repairs using a range of welding techniques
* Operate workshop equipment safely and efficiently
* Ensure all work complies with quality assurance requirements
* Complete job documentation and repair records accurately
* Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
About You
* Trade qualification and/or demonstrated experience in welding and heavy fabrication
* Experience with Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) highly regarded
* Previous experience within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar environments
* Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain
* Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
* Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team
* Current Australian working rights
