Senior Photographer

We combine the largest independent research organisation in the industry with global data and software solutions. We are seeking an Architectural Photographer based on the Gold Coast to create stunning, high-quality photos and videos using cutting-edge gear. Your media will be vital for Australian renters, homebuyers, and commercial real estate professionals who rely on CoStar and Domain to market properties and spot opportunities. With millions visiting our sites each month, your creative work will directly drive property transactions every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Use architectural photography expertise to produce interior and exterior media of residential houses, apartments, offices, industrial, and retail properties.
* Produce engaging videos that showcase standout features of residential and commercial properties, providing insights for prospective stakeholders.
* Matterport 3D captures of properties, creating interior and exterior walk-through tours.
* Create gaussian splat views of residential and commercial properties using drones, where possible.
* Create compelling exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools.
* Use a variety of skilled-grade tools to create visually appealing media.
* Travel may be required up to a week per month or as determined by business needs.
* Utilise time of day, season, location and expertise to determine when and how to photograph assignments.
* Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion resulting in completed projects.
* Communicate professionally with clients during all aspects of media shoots, including scheduling, setup and on-site interactions.
* Continued learning and development of your craft, including staying up to date on new techniques and technology.
* Participate in team meetings to address business challenges and opportunities while promoting collaboration and continuous learning.
Physical and Travel Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg.
* Must hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence and be able to hire a car for work travel.
* Must be able to drive for up to 2 hours at a time, and work outdoors in all seasons.
* Occasional night and weekend work is required (rotating roster).
* A satisfactory Driving Record Check showing responsible driving and compliance with road rules is mandatory before starting.
Basic Qualifications
* Demonstrable practical experience as a professional real estate photographer or similar.
* Portfolio of photos including real estate and lifestyle media (exterior and interior photographs, drone media preferred).
* Minimum of a High School Certificate or equivalent.
* 10+ years professional real estate photography and videography experience.
* Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting.
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro); experience on MAC OS and MS Office.
* Must hold a current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or be willing to obtain it within 6 weeks of joining, including CASA-approved training and certification.

* Enjoys challenges of photographing buildings and suburbs; seeks creative solutions.
* Strong relationship-building skills and ability to develop relationships with contacts at assigned companies.
* Flexible and adaptable with excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with commercial drone photography is desirable.
* Ability to capture and edit high-quality interior and exterior property videos and photography.
* Understanding of best practices for architectural photography, with artistic vision and creativity.
