Role Overview
The Structural Engineering Internship is an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the field of structural engineering. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to ongoing projects, allowing interns to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges while working closely with our experienced engineering team onsite in Australia.
Role Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and analysis of structural components and systems.
* Perform calculations and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
* Participate in site visits to observe construction processes and gather data.
* Prepare sketches and drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
* Collaborate with team members to develop engineering solutions for various projects.

* Support in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
* Learn and apply principles of project management in real-world settings.
* Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress.
* Research and analyze materials and techniques used in structural engineering.

* Gain exposure to various phases of the engineering lifecycle from conception to completion.

Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and mathematics.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Basic knowledge of building codes and standards is an advantage.
