This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Job Description
The Delivery Coordinator supports business units, technical teams, and stakeholders by assisting in the smooth coordination of technical operations and project-related tasks.
This position plays a supporting role in gathering requirements, tracking initiatives, preparing reports on project status, and assisting with risk identification and resource coordination.
The Delivery Coordinator helps facilitate communication and process adherence but does not have direct decision-making authority over project priorities, risk mitigation, or team performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Support
Assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and business goals.
Support project tracking and reporting, maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation as needed.
Create and maintain project risks, issues, and dependencies for resolution.
Facilitate resource coordination by tracking engineer capacity and liaising with relevant teams for allocation requests.
Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes by providing feedback and supporting implementation efforts.
Communication & Collaboration
Serve as a point of contact for project updates on allocated initiatives, ensuring clear communication between technical and business teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, people, technology and operations, to support alignment of project activities.
Prepare and distribute project status updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress and challenges.
Assist in change management efforts by providing logistical support and documentation for assigned initiatives.
Help manage stakeholder expectations by facilitating meetings and ensuring proper documentation of discussions and agreements.
Support & Knowledge Sharing
Assist team members by sharing best practices, templates and methodologies to streamline project coordination.
Help coordinate learning initiatives by organising knowledge-sharing sessions and maintaining relevant documentation.
Encourage collaboration and communication across teams to enhance knowledge transfer and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related support role within enterprise-grade software solutions.
Understanding of traditional project management (Waterfall) and hybrid project methodologies and experience in maintaining project schedules, reports and documentation.
Solid knowledge of Business Process Mapping and/or BPMN.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with software development management tools, such as the Atlassian suite, Miro, Figma, Trello and Microsoft Suite, is preferred.
Ability to identify potential risks and escalated appropriately to project managers or relevant stakeholders.
Experience in supporting change management efforts through documentation and communication.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate coordination across different teams.
Proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to remain calm in a high-pressure, deadline-driven role.
