About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key part in the daily operations of the park—supporting staff, overseeing service delivery, and ensuring every guest feels welcome. You'll work closely with the Park Manager to maintain operational excellence and deliver great outcomes for both mining professionals and leisure travellers.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee front office, guest services, and after-hours callouts
* Lead, train, and motivate a diverse and dedicated team
* Manage budgets and contribute to financial performance
* Maintain compliance with safety, food handling, and accommodation standards
* Build strong relationships with guests, contractors, and the local community
* Assist with rostering, training, and stepping up in the Park Manager's absence
What We're Looking For
* Experience in hospitality, accommodation, or mining village operations
* Confident leadership and interpersonal communication skills
* Understanding of FIFO/DIDO workforce requirements
* Financial and administrative capability, including budgeting and reporting
* Proficiency in RMS or similar reservation systems
* Flexible availability (including weekends and after-hours)
* Current driver's licence
