We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a major project within our facilities division. This role will work closely with the project director and wider delivery team to ensure timely information flow and task completion.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction plans.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position available for 28 months. The role requires site visits and applicants must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid work permit or visa.
About You:
* Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of major projects
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to engage with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure, including occasionally under tight timeframes
* Ability to work autonomously, use your own initiative, and be self-motivated and driven
Responsibilities:
* Provide project coordination and administrative support to the project director and project manager
* Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, briefings, and ministerial correspondence
* Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement activities, and maintain project registers
* Support contract and procurement processes, including tracking milestones and deliverables
* Maintain project records, monitor timelines, and assist with budget tracking and reporting
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely information flow and task completion
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and/or professional accreditations in construction and/or project management
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction plans
* Proficient in the use of Oracle Aconex, SharePoint, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project
