Overview
Darling Downs Health is seeking an Operational Services Officer in Wondai to support patients, staff and the local community. This is a practical, people‐focused role that contributes to keeping healthcare environments safe, welcoming and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Creating safe, clean and welcoming spaces that support patient comfort and infection prevention
* Supporting patients and clinical teams with transport, movement and non-clinical care assistance
* Keeping essential services running smoothly through equipment handling, logistics and site support
* Working collaboratively to respond to day-to-day needs and unexpected situations with calm and care
Qualifications
* A current C class driver licence and ability to meet health and safety requirements
* Confidence with physical tasks, manual handling and working across varied environments
* A strong work ethic, attention to detail and respect for safety, hygiene and procedures
Experience in healthcare, aged care or similar service environments, and/or exposure to rural or regional work settings, is advantageous.
