QCCS is seeking a powerhouse Civil Site Supervisor to lead earthworks and concrete remediation projects across our major Tier-1 mine site contracts in the Bowen Basin.
This isn't a 'clipboard only' role. We need a hands-on leader who’s just as comfortable driving a schedule as they are leading a crew from the front.
📅 Roster & Lifestyle
* Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off (Monday – Friday). Enjoy your weekends at home.
* Format: Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) from the Mackay/Whitsunday region.
* The Gear: Fully maintained company vehicle provided for travel and site use.
* Accommodation: All camp accommodation and meals provided while on roster.
🛠 The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will own the site from mobilisation to handover:
* Supervision: Leading civil earthworks, drainage, and specialized concrete remediation works.
* Team Leadership: Driving QCCS crews and subcontractors to hit daily production and quality targets.
* Compliance: Ensuring 100% adherence to WHS, QA, and site-specific standards.
* Logistics: Coordinating plant, materials, and daily site requirements.
* Communication: Liaising with project engineers and client representatives.
✅ What You’ll Bring
* Experience: 5+ years in a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand role (Mining or Civil).
* Technical Edge: Strong background in civil earthworks and specialized concrete.
* Leadership: The ability to manage a team and make high-pressure calls on the ground.
* Tickets (Mandatory): S1, S2, S3 & G2; Standard 11; White Card; Manual Driver’s Licence.
* Highly Regarded: Relevant Trade Qualification.
