The Digital Records Analyst plays a key role in ensuring ASIC's digital records are managed effectively and in full compliance with legislative requirements.
* Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth
* Salary starting from $97,401 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation
* Permanent

The team
The Information and Knowledge Resource Centre (IKRC) empowers ASIC teams with trusted access to information, records, intelligence, and knowledge services. Through expert support and strategic guidance, we help teams meet compliance obligations, reduce risk, and embrace innovation. Join the Records Governance team to lead best-practice digital records management and contribute to ASIC's intelligence-led regulatory approach.
The role
As a Digital Records Analyst, You Will
* Assess business processes and systems to identify records management risks and recommend solutions
* Engage stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
* Advise on digital disposal and archiving strategies across systems and data environments
* Support long-term preservation and access to high-value digital records
* Maintain and enhance the Information Asset Register and related governance tools
* Contribute to team capability through training and guidance
About You
You will also demonstrate:
* Tertiary qualification in Information Management, IT, Archives, or related field, or equivalent experience in legal, financial, or government sectors
* Knowledge of records management legislation and standards (e.g. Archives Act 1983, Privacy Act)
* Experience with emerging technologies and modern digital recordkeeping practices
* Strong problem-solving skills for stakeholder and system-related issues
* Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
