As part of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a qualified, skilled, and experienced Aluminum/Steel welders to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role is responsible for performing various welding tasks in alignment with project specifications and industry standards. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality products within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Tuff Australia will train and develop your skills to become a high-quality welder.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and build diagrams to determine client requirements.
* Select appropriate welding techniques and equipment for each task.
* Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
* Perform welding tasks using various methods such as MIG and TIG.
* Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Qualifications / Skills:
* (Preferred) Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (Boilermaking)
* Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
* Proven Experience in Aluminum and Steel Welding
* Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG Welding.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* Excellent problem-solvent skills and the ability to independently or as part of a team.
* Must be willing to complete and pass a practical welding assessment
* Australian work rights are required for this position.

* Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
* Adhere to safety protocol and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
* Good physical condition with the ability to life and move heavy objects.
