As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of detailed electrical designs, producing cost estimates, collaborating with the construction team, and maintaining databases and as-built drawings.

About You
">
We are seeking an individual with desirable experience and knowledge in, but not limited to:
* Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer / Designer
* Technical proficiency in Low Voltage and DC power
* Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation
* Ability to interpret CAD drawings
* Competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel for preparing bill of quantities and tender cost estimates
* Knowledge of MS Access, MS Power Automation, and Power Apps is advantageous
* A current manual driver's license
* Willingness to work away from home when required
* Knowledge of ISO9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental legislation/licensing

Preferred Skills

While not essential, we welcome applicants with skills in:
* Developing technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for commercial markets
* Proficient knowledge of the solar industry and related regulations
* Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
