We provide preventative and primary healthcare services, ambulatory services, acute care, sub‐acute care, oral health, mental health and other specialised services, including prison and youth detention health services, and alcohol and other drugs services to the region.
About the Role
To provide clinical care and manage oral health services for paediatric and adolescent patients through the School Dental Service and oral health clinics within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service. Coordinate dental services in an integrated model of care in line with the operational plan for Oral Health.
About You
* Delivers excellent, patient‐centred oral health care to eligible patients across School Dental Services, community, and rural oral health services.
* Understands the policy frameworks, waiting list guidelines, and standard range of treatment for public dental care in Queensland and can effectively distribute available resources to maximise care to the community.
* Well‐developed clinical leadership skills to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams across various clinical settings.
* Demonstrated ability to use data, reports and feedback to identify areas for improvement and plan, implement and evaluate Quality Improvement activities that deliver meaningful improvements for patients and staff.
Mandatory Requirements
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine‐preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
