Project Coordinator Role
In Australia's renewable energy sector, a significant infrastructure project is underway. EnergyConnect, a 700km transmission line connecting Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border, will integrate customers with more renewable energy and create new construction jobs in regional NSW.
This position oversees technical delivery and management, focusing on construction methodologies and strategy implementation, while managing costs and ensuring safe, efficient, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and improve constructability for 330kV and 500kV structures and stringing solutions.
* Oversee the safe and effective delivery of structural and stringing activities.
* Lead a team in delivering works packages on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with the Procurement team to develop scopes of work and select suitable sub-contractors and suppliers.
* Analyse risks to ensure works are delivered safely and meet environmental and quality requirements.
* Prepare construction budgets, forecasts, and updates.
* Drive a target zero safety culture and implement systems to manage quality.
* Apply skills to assist in planning and value engineering.
* Manage subcontractors and advise on commercial aspects and performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Engineering and over 10 years of OHTL experience.
* Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
* Driver's License.
