Construction Lawyer (2-4 PAE)

About the Role
We are seeking a talented construction lawyer to join Queensland's preeminent Construction, Infrastructure and Projects teams at Holding Redlich. The role involves working with a wide range of sectors—including transport, social infrastructure, residential, renewables, commercial and industrial projects—providing legal advice to government, developers, multi‑national engineering companies and major contractors.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with large‑scale construction projects, including project delivery and back‑end construction matters.
* Manage disputes during and after project delivery, covering adjudications, expert determinations and complex litigation and arbitration.
* Prepare legal advices, draft evidence and legal submissions, and conduct day‑to‑day litigation work.
* Instruct counsel and technical experts and supervise paralegals and junior lawyers as appropriate.
* Maintain high client service standards while balancing multiple priorities in a fluid work environment.
Qualifications
* 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience, with a background in project delivery, construction or infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of civil procedure; experience from the mining, resources or energy sectors is desirable.
* Excellent analytical and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines, while managing client expectations.
* High interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication style to varied audiences.
* Team‑player attitude, with a willingness to support others and mentor junior staff.
* Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
