We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Head Chefs / Sous Chefs / Chefs to join the group across multiple locations as the Waymark portfolio grows. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Chef to escape the high cost of city living and work for a growing hospitality group.
The Role:
As a Chef, your daily responsibilities will include:
* Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
* Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
* Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
* Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
* Assisting with menu changes when required
Successful Candidate:
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
* Previous experience within a fast paced commercial kitchen
* Availability to work any hospitality hours
* Ability to work well under a high pressure environment
* Brilliant communication skills to all team members
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred but not essential
