About The Role
Are you a passionate and experiences Registered Nurse looking for flexible work opportunities? Newcastle Clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a casual basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients. This position is ideal for a nurse seeking flexibility while contributing meaningfully to patient outcomes.
DUTIES
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services across a broad scope of general practice duties. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, clinical competence, and a proactive approach to patient care.
* Apply high-level nursing skills independently and collaboratively
* Triage patient and assess care priorities
* Administer vaccinations and travel health consultation
* Perform phlebotomy and other specimen collection as required
* Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
* Maintenance & sterilisation of all equipment
* Compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
* General administration duties
Candidate Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with:
* Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification – Required
* Certificate in Phlebotomy – Required
* Current Working with Children Check – Required
* Current Immunisation Certificate – Desirable
