Are you passionate about creating safer, healthier workplaces? Our local government client based in Port Hedland is seeking a motivated and proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner to support the business for a 12‑week temporary assignment.

About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will:
* Support the implementation and monitoring of workplace health and safety systems
* Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and correction actions
* Promote wellbeing initiatives across the organisation
* Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments
* Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on safety best practice
* Help foster a positive, proactive safety culture
You’ll be joining a supportive team committed to continuous improvement and the wellbeing of staff at every level.
Essential criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated experience in a WHS, HSE
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and compliance requirements
* Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety audits
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels
* Proven ability to promote and support health and wellbeing initiatives
* High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and WHS reporting systems
