About The Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Librarian to join the Brunswick Library team and provide high‑quality customer service. Responsibilities include engaging with the community, providing technology help, supervising and training library staff, assisting with digital initiatives, and supporting library events and activities.
Skills & Experience Required
* Degree in Library and Information Services or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
* Teamwork, supervisory and communication skills.
* Problem‑solving using creativity and originality, with the ability to defuse conflict.
* Leadership, motivation and coaching skills for staff.
* Understanding of child safety and wellbeing requirements in a library setting.
* Eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
* Current Working with Children Check.
