What You'll Do
* Conduct pre‐inspections, in‐progress inspections and post‐inspections to verify safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
* Assess subcontractor workmanship and ensure all works meet Downer and client expectations.
* Identify non‐conformances, raise Business Improvement Forms (BIFs), and follow up corrective actions through to completion.
* Investigate Zero Harm, Code of Conduct and environmental incidents, prepare reports, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
* Provide onsite guidance, support safe work practices, and help maintain a proactive quality and safety culture.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in auditing, compliance or assurance roles, ideally within housing, asset maintenance or service delivery settings.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and confidently across diverse stakeholder groups.
* High attention to detail, sound analytical capability and proficiency in reporting and documentation.
* A solid understanding of governance, regulatory and KPI frameworks, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.
* Working knowledge of WHS, quality and contractual compliance requirements.
* Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high‐quality outcomes for our clients.
