THE ROLE
We are currently seeking applications to join our Paste Crew team working at various sites across Western Australia. This is a FIFO role with flexible rosters including 14/1/4, 8/6 & 7/7 depending on our specific sites. This role offers a rare opportunity to work within a specialised area of the industry, where you?ll gain deep knowledge of operational processes, paste products, reticulation systems, and the essential role backfill plays in modern mining.
Duties include but not limited to;
* Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment.
* Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT?s and flatbed trucks.
* Operation of Hand-Held Rock drills.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols.
* Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety and accountability among team members.
* Working in various capacities both underground and on the surface.
* Other duties as directed by the Leading Hand or Paste Coordinator.
THE PERSON
* Experience underground or in a similar role is preferred however, on the job training is provided.
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a plant operating environment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Current police clearance or willingness to obtain.
* Strong work ethic and punctual.
* Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
* HR, IT& EWP tickets are desirable.
