About the role
At PDR GROUP PTY LTD, we are seeking experienced Civil Construction / Telstra Pit & Pipe / Cable Haulers to join our team in Narangba, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our construction operations.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a range of construction equipment, including excavators, and skid steer loaders around live services
* Assist with the installation and maintenance of Telstra pits, pipes, and cables
* Participate in site preparation, ground clearing, and other general construction activities
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
* Collaborate with the broader construction team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a civil construction worker, Telstra pit and pipe installer, or cable hauler
* Strong knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance
* Familiarity with Telstra specifications and requirements for pit, pipe, and cable installation
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
