Catering & Kitchen Utility Team Member (DIDO)
ISS is seeking DIDO Catering & Kitchen Utility Team Members to assist in delivering quality food and service at our remote mining villages in Central QLD.
This hands‐on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, from kitchen operation to serving meals to maintaining dining areas. You will be key to providing an impeccable dining experience to clients.
Schedule
14 days on / 7 days off roster, offering plenty of time at home to rest and recharge.
Responsibilities
* Assist with meal preparation and food service.
* Operate dishwashers and maintain kitchen equipment in a clean, safe condition.
* Set up and pack down the dining room for meal services.
* Carry out general cleaning of kitchen and dining facilities to a high standard.
* Re‐stock supplies and report maintenance needs.
* Work safely and follow food hygiene and WHS procedures.
* Support the broader ISS team to keep village operations running smoothly.

Qualifications
* Good organisational skills, able to work in a fast‐paced and diverse environment.
* Team‐player mentality.
* Strong work and safety consciousness.
* Minimum of two years professional experience in catering, kitchen hand, stewardship, cleaning, or similar utility work.
* Experience in DIDO hospitality, mining camps, or remote sites highly desirable.
* Physically fit and able to work on long shifts.
* Ability to pass a full Pre‐Employment Medical Assessment including Drug & Alcohol Screening.
* Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Certificate highly desirable, or willing to obtain.
* Food Safety Certificate from an accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia.
* Valid National Police Clearance within 12 months.
* Full working rights in Australia.
