We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the planning and execution of our annual Forage Festival. As Festival Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the event, from logistics and marketing to coordination and communication with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as strong computer and administrative abilities. Experience in event coordination or tourism is preferred, but not essential. Above all, you must have a genuine passion for celebrating local produce, community events, and the North West region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the planning and facilitation of festival events and activities
* Liaise with local producers, tourism operators, and community groups
* Coordinate logistics, marketing support, and event scheduling
* Maintain clear communication with organizers and stakeholders
* Use strong computer and administrative skills to manage event systems and documentation

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You should be confident in your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. A passion for local produce, tourism, and community engagement is essential.
