Day to day, you’ll help older people livewith dignity, whether that’s helping them get around, go tothe bathroom, take a shower, or enjoy a meal with a friendly face– in line with their personalised care plan, all while theyremain in the comfort of their own homes. You will support theirindependence and empower them to live their lives on their ownterms. You will also help them celebrate life with community-basedfun and social activities, bringing them a sense of belonging in sodoing. With our high standards in clinical and compassionate care,you will have the space to innovate and excel, doing work you areproud of. We currently have a high number of requestsfor female home carers to provide personal care for our femalecustomers to ensure their dignity and privacy.

What it takes to do this work:
No Matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, awillingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire tomake a difference. As a Home Care Worker, you’ll alsoneed:
* An empathy and commitment to the care of older people
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support OR priorexperience in a related role
* Administer and Monitor Medications Certificate HLTHP007(highly desirable)
* Good interpersonal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
* Availability to attend our 3 day on-boarding program
* Current First Aid certificate or enrolled to obtain
* Current Drivers License, a reliable car with comprehensivecar insurance
