Accounting Operations Lead
This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including client-facing interaction, month-end close process management, and oversight of accounts payable.
* Ensure timely completion of the month-end close process and preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and reporting packages.
* Oversee accounts payable operations, supplier payment runs, payroll tax lodgements, and reconciliations.
* Prepare monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements, leveraging expertise in financial regulations.
* Implement process improvements utilizing cloud technology and supervise junior staff members.
* Coordinate client onboarding and new client registrations with relevant authorities.
About You
* Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Hold CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent professional certification, with experience in management accounting.
* Demonstrate knowledge of IFRS/AASB principles and proficiency in Xero, Netsuite, or other cloud accounting software.
* Exhibit expertise in GST, WHT, and tax office lodgement procedures.
* Display advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Demonstrate strong numerical and IT skills.
