We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for an individual with experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor/manual work.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our school's grounds, including outdoor maintenance tasks, beautification of gardens and landscaped areas, operation and maintenance of equipment, rubbish removal, and site tidiness. They will also support minor property repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and improving the school's grounds, including mowing, edging, hedge trimming, weeding, and pruning
* Assisting with the beautification of school gardens, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces
* Operating and maintaining gardening and maintenance equipment
* Ensuring rubbish removal and general site tidiness
* Supporting minor property repairs and maintenance
Requirements
This role requires the ability to undertake strenuous manual tasks in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor/manual work, and possess excellent teamwork skills and a strong work ethic.
