Clinical Psychologist - Early Intervention and Developmental Services
The ORS Psychology division is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of a national team of 250+ Psychologists & Counsellors providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.
You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types. Your role will involve assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours and working towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised plans to meet client needs
* Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to support client growth and development
* Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and registration as a Provisional Psychologist
* Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
* A car and licence
* A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one for a client-facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
