What you'll be doing
In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee quality governance and regulatory readiness across oncology clinical trial units within the District. You will build and strengthen quality systems, support workforce capability and ensure clinical trials are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with national and state regulatory frameworks.
* Lead the development and implementation of a District-wide Oncology Clinical Trials Quality Management System and governance framework
* Drive readiness for accreditation, regulatory inspections and sponsor audits, including oversight of CAPA and quality improvement initiatives
* Lead internal GCP audits, quality reviews and risk-based assessments across oncology trial units
* Provide expert advice to investigators and trial leadership on quality, compliance, risk and regulatory requirements
* Develop workforce capability through training strategies, competency frameworks and quality resources for oncology trials staff

How to Apply

* Tertiary qualifications in health, science, management or a related discipline and/or extensive experience in oncology clinical trials, including quality systems, GCP compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Experience designing, implementing, and overseeing clinical trial quality and compliance programs, and leading organisational responses to regulatory inspections, sponsor audits, and accreditation requirements in oncology trials.
* Advanced knowledge of GCP, clinical research legislation, ethics and governance frameworks, and operational standards with the ability to provide expert, authoritative advice on oncology clinical trial quality and compliance to clinicians and management.
* Highly developed ability to make informed judgements and exercise delegated authority regarding changes to standards, policies, procedures and quality practices in oncology clinical trials.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior clinicians, trials staff, sponsors and regulatory bodies within the oncology trial environment.
* Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering workforce capability and training programs, including competency frameworks, onboarding and performance development for oncology clinical trials staff.
