The role
The role requires a
very experienced
dispatch person who has experience in inventory control and freight bookings, so must be computer savvy. The successful candidate will hold a counter balance forklift license (for over 10 years) working in a manufacturing environment; has demonstrated initiative, will be able to think outside the box, and can preform under pressure, coordinating the quick pace of the inwards, outwards and internal manufacturing floor movements. Leading the team of two (yourself and the forklift driver), you will need to schedule the workload and prioritise daily requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
Booking freight inwards/outwards, using computerised systems
Forklift driving, move stock in a safe and efficient manner
Loading and unloading trucks
Planning, prioritising and coordinating with internal stakeholders for daily and weekly deliveries
Maintain stock levels in the warehouse
Pick/ Pack Orders
Routine stock takes
Follow GMP practices
General Warehouse Housekeeping
Achieving Team KPIs
Reporting all issues to Management
About You
Must have the ability to work in a warehouse team environment, using the computer systems and spreadsheets.
Current forklift license with at least 10 years manufacturing plant experience using a counterbalance forklift
Must hold a current LF - Forklift licence for counterbalance forklift operations
Demonstrated Excel proficiency for data management and analysis
High attention to detail
Well presented with a friendly positive attitude
Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own
Fit and healthy
Must have COVID vaccinations
Experience in a warehousing environment
Experience within the signage industry is most preferable but not essential
Hours are 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday
