About The Role
We are looking for a proactive, self‑starter to join our service team at the Mackay branch in Paget, responsible for assisting trade‑qualified technicians in the maintenance, service, repair and assembly of conveyor components and systems. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career through our Traineeship Belt Splicing Program, which offers a nationally recognised, fully company‑funded Certificate III in Polymer Processing and a permanent full‑time position upon completion.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals in the early stages of their mechanical or general trade careers as well as those looking to gain a trade certificate in splicing.

What do we need from you?
* Must have a strong safety focus.
* Hold a current driver's licence.
* Previous experience in a Trade Assistant position, ideally in a related industry sector such as manufacturing or mining.
* Possess good mechanical aptitude, as well as sound communication and numerical skills.
* Ability to work on‑call and overtime.
* Prepared to undergo a full pre‑employment medical assessment and a National Police Check.
* Ideally hold any of the following: Forklift ticket, Working at Heights, Dogger, Basic Rigger, or confined space licence.
