About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS)
Provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Central Highlands, and Banana areas, serving a population of over 250,000. Rockhampton is the main service centre, managing the Mental Health Act, 2016, supporting accreditation, program implementation, and providing acute inpatient facilities for the Central Queensland Mental Health teams.
About the role:
The Psychologist or Social Worker Senior (Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs) assists young people aged 12-18 years within the Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (YAODS). The role involves delivering high-level specialist clinical practice in drug and alcohol health services for children, young people, their families, and carers within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). YAODS also offers expert advice and consultative services to enhance service provision for young people with problematic substance use in Central Queensland.
About you:
* Possess a relevant clinical undergraduate degree from a tertiary institution or equivalent qualifications in one of the listed professions, with eligibility for registration/membership with the appropriate professional body.
* Psychology: A four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited institution, with full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and a current practicing certificate.
* Social Work: At least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Social Work from an accredited institution, with eligibility for full membership in the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

The total remuneration package is up to $157,359, comprising:
* An hourly rate between $64.64 and $69.55
