About the Position
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rated to your contracted or ordinary working hours; payments are made fortnightly) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
The scheme recognises the role that key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing
Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
Work within your scope of practice and seek support, learning and education where required.

Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to patient care in a multidisciplinary team.
Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate and implement individualized person-centred care.
Capacity to identify and resolve conflict, managing emotional responses and interacting professionally.
Commitment to partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families to enhance health outcomes.
Evidence of participation in professional development and commitment to maintaining competence.
Understanding of evidence-based best practice and its contribution to changing practice and policies.
Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication within multidisciplinary team.
