About the role
* We are seeking 2x full-time labourers looking to build their skills and experience within the floor laying industry.
* You'll learn an in-demand trade from experienced tradesmen including how to prepare, install and finish various flooring coverings.
* You'll experience working within the construction industry and on job sites, as well as develop transferable skills such as reading job plans, works sequencing and Work Health and Safety procedures.
* The successful applicant will receive a generous salary as well as skill and experience growth limited only by your drive and dedication.
Qualifications and experience.
* You should be self motivated to excel in your job including asking questions and seeking opportunities to practice and advance your skills.
* We are a finishing trade, so you'll need to have attention to quality and detail, and take pride in your work.
* You'll be reliable, have good communication with the team, and be open solving challenges proactively and quickly adapting to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
* Be physically fit including being able to lift 20kgs independently and being comfortable with long periods of standing and manual movement.
* Must have Drivers Licence and reliable transport capable of getting you to jobs across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Logan.
* Have the right to live and work in Australia as well as hold a valid WhiteCard, be willing to get a Fit test done for flooring preparation.
