What you'll do
Provide business reporting, value-add business partnering and accounting/financial services to Mercy Home Care.
Assist the Finance Manager Home Care (FMHC) to ensure controls, business/financial processes and procedures comply with Mercy Health Group Finance Policies and Procedures.
Ensure month-end close, year-end and other statutory reporting are timely, accurate and compliant.
Develop annual budgets for Home Care regions and present at Regional Management meetings as required.
Prepare Home Care quarterly/annual financial reports and acquittals accurately and on time.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support operational management and performance improvement.
Support development and review of financial and operational reporting across Home Care to be timely, accurate and informative for the intended audience.
Assist in the preparation of business cases, tender submissions and financial models for Home Care facilities/services as required.
Action pricing changes for Mercy Home Care revenue streams.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and provide quality business management support to operational managers.
Provide leadership and support for direct reports.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a varied group of stakeholders.
Not less than 5 years' experience in an accounts or finance role with a proven ability to meet operational and budgetary objectives.
Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Some management experience is desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication with an ability to engage with executives, management and staff through consultation processes and sound judgment.
Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and management.
Great attention to detail.
