Your role as a Business Development Manager is to leverage your in-depth lending experience to grow market share by building strong, long-lasting relationships with the local community. Your expertise will be key in developing tailored lending solutions that meet customer needs.

With a deep understanding of the local market, lending products, and risk management, you'll be the go-to expert in your area. By driving new business and expanding your network, you'll impact business growth and strengthen the local community.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

1. Proactively building a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities, establishing referral partnerships, and acquiring new customers through strategic networking.

2. Guiding customers seamlessly through the lending process, providing confidence and peace of mind as you help them achieve their financial goals.

3. Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing existing Community Bank relationships, and expanding your network through local events.

4. Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and future-proof their financial success.

5. Developing lasting relationships within the community, positioning yourself as a trusted lending expert ready to support your customers' needs.

This is a permanent, full-time position located at the Community Bank in Griffith, NSW.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed, you'll drive lending growth by building relationships, acquiring new business, and becoming the local lending expert. We'd love you to have:

* Extensive consumer lending experience – essential

* Strong networks and a proven ability to generate new business opportunities

* High understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations

* Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues, assess needs, and develop a holistic view of their situation

* Highly developed credit analysis skills

* Understanding of small business offerings

* A self-motivated, high-performing approach with a proven track record of lending growth
