About the role

Old Coast Road Brewery is one of the South West's most unique hospitality destinations, located just north of Bunbury in Western Australia. Combining a busy restaurant, brewery, beer garden and events venue, we attract locals and tourists year-round for great food, drinks and experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the day-to-day operations of the venue. This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for maintaining exceptional customer experiences, developing a strong team culture, and ensuring the venue operates efficiently and profitably.

You will receive all the benefits of a permanent employee including holiday pay on top of your salary.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

What you'll be doing

You will lead a team of supervisors and front‐of‐house staff across restaurant, bar and events operations.

* Manage all aspects of the venue's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control and budget management
* Lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure the highest standards of customer service
* Maintain smooth daily operations across the restaurant, bar and events areas
* Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
* Ensure RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) compliance at all times
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and the overall guest experience
* Work closely with the marketing team to support events, promotions and venue initiatives
* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages teamwork and professional development
* Represent the venue at industry events and networking opportunities when required
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating hospitality teams to achieve strong business outcomes
* Minimum 1–2 years of hospitality venue management experience
* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control and profit maximisation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff, suppliers and guests
* Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment governing licensed hospitality venues
* A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and continuously improving venue performance
* Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality management or a related field is highly desirable

Old Coast Road Brewery is a high-volume destination venue featuring a large restaurant, brewery and beer garden, hosting regular live music, events and busy weekend trade.

We offer competitive remuneration and are prepared to make a long‐term commitment to the successful applicant.

The position includes:

* Monthly performance‐based salary bonus
* Permanent full‐time employment
* Holiday pay and sick pay in addition to salary
* Approximately 30 hours per week on the floor, plus around 8 hours per week working from home
